Mentors coach, assess, and support Candidates in meeting the complexities of the teaching profession and completing the requirements of the Induction program. This partnership is the most important aspect of the Induction Program. Mentors meet with their mentees for a minimum of one (1) hour per week for a total of at least four (4) hours per month, attend Orientation and Sharecase with their mentees, and complete their own standards-based, mentor reflection and training.
