The two-year Adult Education Program is primarily self-paced and online with several face-to-face classes via Zoom over the course of the program. The Adult Education experience is organized into four terms that focus on project-based learning plans (one each term) that are supported by the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP), Adult Education standards, and the Designated Subjects Program. Upon successful completion of the program and credential requirements, Candidates are eligible for their California Clear Adult Education Credential, which the program recommends to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) on their behalf.
